HOW TO DEMYSTIFY THE PROCESS OF FINDING YOUR PRIORITIES, FORMULATE THEM INTO AFFIRMATIONS AND MAKE THEM PART OF YOUR DAILY LIFE, TO ACHIEVE
A very practical approach to this exercise is – imagine – you come to the children’s room everything is fully clattered – clothes + toys lie on the floor, on all shelves and on the beds – and you-
out of all the chaos- you should take out the 6 most important toys that your children will take with them on a long, long journey on which there is nothing else to buy.
WHAT WOULD YOU DO? Think about it and write it down. I myself would proceed like this: I’d take a large box and throw everything in there. The selection is made in step 2.
This is how you do it with your projects, wishes, goals and open tasks: write them all down on a notepad (your box- figuratively speaking).
Maybe you have done this before – but in THIS WORKSHOP I will take you through the whole process.
ORDER EVERYTHING IN BOXES
Sure, it feels SUPER when you put everything out of your head and put it on a piece of paper. But as long as you don’t really put everything in there, your brain won’t trust that everything is really out now – and it will continue to revolve around certain things and look in your head and won’t let you rest.
This description of Tidying Up is especially for those who do not yet know what BIG WISHES AND GOALS YOU HAVE in life. Or they know, but find themselves unable to set priorities. Others – know that straight away, they are already burning inside for ONE thing, the ONE big goal ..
In a later part of these TIPS from SOUL AND BUSINESS – we will look at how we can actually make ACTION STEPS in life and in business and, if possible, DIGITALIZE this process. These steps are extremely important – because in the medium term you create an EXTERNAL BRAIN, so to speak – that always reminds you of the actions and dates – you always stay on the track of your goals – do not deviate from the focus of your GREAT GOALS – and it also relieves your own brain – so you have much less stress – you can think and act more creatively.
It is therefore important that you already organize and proceed systematically. Now that all the toys are in the box – figuratively speaking – I mean, of course, is on your LIST- RUN THE LIST OF YOUR REQUESTS AND TASKS BY URGENCY AND REDUCE IT – AS SHOWN BELOW.
Because it must be clear to you yourself that you cannot tackle EVERYTHING at once – your day only has 24 hours – and you also do not expect a lottery win tomorrow – so there are also financial and time restrictions, which tasks you can realistically burden yourself with and which not. So divide the projects and wishes into a
STACK 1. YES AND NOW
STACK 2. Clearly NO
STACK 3. MAYBE LATER
FROM THE PROJECTS “YES AND NOW” you develop your FIRST daily affirmations = or as others say: autohypnotic sentence formulations. It is enough if you start with 2-3 sentences. But later it can also be like 12 or more sentences. NO PROBLEM! By the way – if you are a guy who thinks in a dialect – then write and speak your sentences in your dialect. This is completely all right -as only YOU and your unconscious mind hear this! This process takes place in YOUR HEAD alone. The same applies if you actually think mostly in a language other than German/English or whatever.
We would like to give some advice here:
keep your goals and beliefs as your secret. The reason is simple: there will be many people who describe you as “crazy”, to have such high goals, and try to beat you down with negative thoughts and logical sentences. It is enough if you fight the quiet doubts that will creep through your brain again and again. You need all the strength for your FAITH and the firm TRUST that the universe works for you and through you on your plan. And now more examples of affirmations:
FOR YOUR RELATIONSHIP (WHICH YOU WISH FOR YOURSELF) THE SET MAY BE:
“I AM SO PROUD OF MY WIFE / MAN, THE ONE I HAVE, THAT LOVES AND CONFIRMS ME, AND CONFIRMS IN MY ACTIONS, RESPECTES OUR FAMILY AND MAKES MY LIFE WORTH LIVING.
FOR YOUR HEALTH AND DIET PROJECTS, YOUR SET MAY BE:
I HAVE THIS WONDERFUL BODY – I SEE MYSELF IN THE MIRROR AND I LIKE IT. IT WEIGHS ONLY XY KILOGRAM, IS PURE MUSCLE – COMPLETELY HEALTHY AND IT CARRIES ME THROUGH A WONDERFUL AND JOYFUL LIFE.
AS A VISUALIZATION, YOU COULD TAKE YOUR SPORTIDOL WITH IDEAL FIGURE HERE – BUT IT’S YOUR FACE ON THAT BODY! YOU CAN SURF, SKI OR HANDLING A SAILING YACHT – WHATEVER WAS ALWAYS PART OF YOUR DREAM….
FOR AN ART PAINTER, THE SET MAY BE AS FOLLOWS:
GALLERY XYZ TAKE 3 OF MY PICTURES TO ART-BASEL TO EXHIBIT IT THERE. THEY ARE THE PICTURES – WRITE THE NAMES / TITLE 1) .. 2)… 3) .. AND IT IS THE FIRST EVENING OF THE FIRST DAY OF THE EXHIBITION. MY PICTURES ALL HAVE A RED POINT – THAT MEANS THEY ARE ALREADY SOLD. THE GALERIST IS COMPLETELY ENTHUSED – – AND SO AM I! WE ARE TOASTING WITH A GLASS OF CHAMPAIGNE!
A BUSINESSWOMAN – / MAN COULD SPEAK SUCH AN AFFIRMATION:
“I’M JUST RECEIVING AN EMAIL WITH CONFIRMATION – THE MAJOR CUSTOMER XYZ HAS ACCEPTED OUR OFFER AND WANTS TO WORK WITH US ON A TRIAL ORDER ON XYZ DELIVERY WITH A VIEW OF LONG-TERM CONTRACTING. PROUDLY LIKE OSKAR I OPEN A BOTTLE OF SPARKLING AND CALL MY TEAM TOGETHER: FRIENDS – WE’VE DONE IT! “Cheers !!!”
OR SOMEONE GOES ON A DREAM JOURNEY – NOW – IT’S EASY – OR NOT? YOU TAKE THE TRAVEL BROCHURE OR LOOK ON THE INTERNET FOR THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACES AT THE TARGET DESTINATION AND FORMULATE YOUR SET – WITH WHOM ARE YOU THERE? WHEN ARE YOU THERE? WHAT ARE YOU DOING – EATING OR PHOTOGRAPHING OR HIKING AND SAILING? YOU SEE – IT’S THAT EASY !!!
THE REQUEST FOR A LOT OF MONEY:
HERE IT IS ADVISABLE – TO UNITE THIS DESIRE WITH THE PROFESSIONAL REQUEST / ACTIVITY AND TO COMBINE IT.
PER EXAMPLE: “TODAY A REPORTAGE IN THE “ECONOMIC WEEKLY” CAME OUT FEATURING MY IT COMPANY AS THE MOST INNOVATIVE COMPANY IN THIS QUARTER. WE CELEBRATE THIS CIRCUMSTANCE WITH A MEETING OF EMPLOYEES AND CLIENTS IN HAWAII AND HAVE BOOKED THE HOTEL “LUXURY-HOTEL XYZ” ON THE ISLAND XYZ FOR THIS EVENT – IMAGINE EVERYTHING IN DETAIL- AND IN THE PRESENT TIME FORM-LIKE IT’S HAPPENING NOW.
ANOTHER SIGNIFICANT PART: SOME PEOPLE HAVE PROBLEMS – DOING THE RITUAL WHILE WAKING UP OR GOING TO SLEEP – SO DOING THEIR AFFIRMATIONS IN A SEMI-CONSCIOUS CONDITION, SO BEFORE FAMILY OR OTHER CIRCUMSTANCES TAKE OVER THEIR DAY.
IS THAT YOU?
NO PROBLEM! THEN YOU JUST HAVE TO MAKE A SMALL TIME WINDOW OF 5-10 MINUTES A DAY – DISCONNECT ALL OF THE NOISE AND STRESS – CLOSE YOUR EYES – ENJOY YOURSELF IN A BEAUTIFUL QUIET PLACE BEFORE YOUR INNER EYE – NEAR A WATERFALL, ON A LAKE OR ON A MOUNTAIN – YOU SEE YOURSELF SITTING THERE – AND YOUR INNER VOICE SPEAKS YOUR AFFIRMATIONS – OR YOU LISTEN TO YOUR CELL PHONE – WHERE YOU RECORDED IT AS A VIDEO OR MP3. IT HAS BEEN STORED ON DROPBOX OR SIMPLY STORED AS A VOICE NOTE.
SOME PEOPLE CAN’T EVEN FIND THESE QUIET MOMENTS – THEY ARE HEARING THEIR AFFIRMATIONS VIA MOBILE PHONE WITH HEADPHONES WHILE WAITING FOR THE SUBWAY OR SPORTING A LONG WALK – DON’T DISCREDIT THESE MEANS- BECAUSE IT STILL HELPS!
PEOPLE AND THEIR RECEPTIONS ARE ALSO VERY DIFFERENT. EXPERIENCE HAS SHOWN THAT THE BIGGEST EFFECT ON OUR UNCONSCIOUS BRAIN IS WHEN WE SAY OUR AFFIRMATIONS IN SEMI-CONSCIOUS CONDITION, LIKE IMMEDIATELY AFTER AWAKENING OR JUST BEFORE GOING TO SLEEP.
BUT IT DOESN’T TURN AFFIRMATIONS INEFFECTIVE IF YOU ARE DOING THEM A WELL-CONSCIOUS CONDITION – FOR EXAMPLE, WHEN JOGGING – MOST LIKELY – IT WILL ALSO WORK (BUT NOT WITH EVERYBODY- AND NOT AS FAST). EXPERIENCE TELLS US- IT MAY BE BETTER THEN – TO SAY THE AFFIRMATIONS MORE TIMES PER DAY- AND FOR MORE DAYS, TO HAVE THE SAME EFFET THAN AFFIRMATIONS GIVEN IN THE SEMI-CONSCIOUS CONDITION. AGAIN, OTHERS CAN CONCENTRATE MORE IF THEY HEAR SOOTHING MUSIC ALONGSIDE THEIR AFFIRMATIONS. THEN I CAN RECOMMEND THIS HERE: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kxRRuM99yg0

• THE FIRST MEADOW FLOWERS THAT WERE BROUGHT TO YOU BY A CHILD / GIRLFRIEND,
- Possibly-wound in a wreath
- • THE FIRST 10 METERS YOU COULD SWIM ALONE
- • THE FIRST GOOD GRADE OR PRAISE IN SCHOOL
- • A SURPRISE BY ANYONE … AND FEEL DEEP GRATEFULNESS TO THE UNIVERSE (OR GOD) THAT YOU CAN RE-EXPERIENCE THESE MOMENTS. FEEL THE POSITIVE AURA THAT COMES TO YOU IF YOU ARE LETTING YOUR THOUGHTS LINGER PLEASANTLY RECALLING THESE MOMENTS – ENJOY THEM FOR 1-2 MINUTES – EXTEND THIS POSITIVE AURA TO YOUR ENVIRONMENT + THE PEOPLE IN IT. AFTER THIS – YOU WILL SIMPLY ALLOW THE VISIONS OF YOUR PREPARED AFFIRMATIONS !!! *****
ABOUT THIS EXERCISE – I HOPE YOU ARE NOT SO DEPRESSIVE THAT YOU CANNOT NOT BE GRATEFUL FOR SOMETHING AS LITTLE AS DESCRIBED ABOVE – “BECAUSE IT IS ESSENTIAL”.
IN BRIEF: NOTHING IS EVERYTHING:
MANY PEOPLE DIE AS INFANTS OR LITTLE CHILDREN, AND CANNOT EVEN EXPERIENCE SUCH MOMENTS – THEY ARE SERIOUSLY SICK OR DISABLED AND NEVER COME OUT FROM THE DISEASE/WHEELCHAIR OR HOSPITAL. EVER LOOKED AT YOUR LIFE ALONG THOSE LINES- AND HOW LUCKY YOU ACTUALLY ARE?
